I am one of six children raised by a single mother with limited means. My father left when I was a little over age one. Therefore, making the most of our clothes was crucial for my mother and the girls in the family. I had my sewing machine by age nine and have been sewing ever since.

My passion for sewing, inspired by my mother and grandmother, continues to be a part of who I am. My entire working career has been in the sewing manufacturing and product development field. I started working as a production operator for 12 years and moved into research and development, where I gained more knowledge of pattern making and fit characteristics in garment making.

My experience extends to plant engineering, quality control, and directing training programs for unskilled personnel. As a result of my experience level, I have worked as a plant manager for a couple of companies for the last 25 years. I have a lifetime of experience, which makes my company unique.

This next stage of my life as a retired individual is to utilize all of my experience to grow a thriving business, producing my products and offering services as a contract sewing company, offering a no-nonsense customer experience that I would expect if I were the one buying from my website.

Lastly, my ultimate goal is to pass my knowledge to my granddaughter, who is learning to sew as I did at her age. I have faith in God and overwhelming support from my husband and children that this business will be successful.
